Abbott: State Will Help However Possible After Bryan Shooting

Gov. Greg Abbott promises the state will help in any way possible after a deadly shooting at a Bryan business.

Abbott says he has been working with state troopers and the Texas Rangers on the investigation into Thursday afternoon’s attack at Kent Moore Cabinets. Police have the suspect in custody, who is accused of killing one person and wounding five others.

A Texas state trooper was also shot, and DPS believes he was chasing the suspect in nearby Iola. The trooper is in serious but stable condition.
