A new city councilman has been elected in Palmview. Arlando Nacianceno won the runoff election yesterday. He defeated Velia Gonzalez for the City Council Place 4 seat. This comes after neither candidate won a majority of ballots cast last month. The runoff results are unofficial until canvassed.
