Army IDs Soldier Found Dead At Fort Hood Last Week

The U.S. Army is identifying a Fort Hood soldier who was found dead behind his company barracks last week.

Fort Hood leaders say 26-year-old Spc. Maxwell Hockin died on Saturday, but they didn’t release his identity until Wednesday. The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command is investigating Hockin’s death.

Fort Hood leadership says they will release no information about the cause of death at this time, pending the outcome of the investigation.
