Arrests Made Ahead of ‘White Lives Matter’ Rally in Huntington Beach


Police say they made numerous arrests near Huntington Beach’s pier ahead of a white supremacy rally on Sunday. About 50 counter-protesters came out to demonstrate against the so-called White Lives Matter rally that was scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

According to Huntington Beach Police, one counter-protester was taken into custody for using amplified sound. A second man was also taken into custody but it is unclear why.
