At Least 75 Animals Die At Pet Resort In Fire


Dozens of animals were killed Saturday night in a fire at a boarding facility for pets. It happened at the Ponderosa Pet Resort, where Georgetown Fire Chief John Sullivan says crews were met with heavy smoke and flames.

Sullivan said about 75 animals died in the fire, all of them from smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
