Bail Reform Pressed

Texas Governor Greg Abbott wants the automatic denial of bail for those accused of murder and rape. He told a crowd in Houston this week that all 88 Republicans in the Texas House will vote for the change. But, he admits, they need 12-democrats to join on. Bail reform, he says, is “common sense.”
