BC Heat Wave Kills Over 230

Hundreds of Canadians are dying in a historic heat wave gripping British Columbia. Officials on Tuesday said at least 233 people have died in the western province since Friday because of the record heat.

Just one example of bad things have been – the town of Lytton, about 120 miles north of Vancouver, hit 117 degrees on Monday, the highest temperature ever recorded in Canada. The chief coroner in British Columbia called it an “unprecedented time.”
