BCIC Pushes Back Deadline For Small Business Pandemic Loans

The Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation is pushing back its deadline for applications for a loan program to help small businesses affected by the pandemic.

The organization says it still has 375-thousand-dollars to lend and is hoping to attract more applicants before the June 25th deadline.

Brownsville businesses with 50 employees or less can apply for a forgivable loan through the BCIC website. The organization plans to launch another loan program next month that will be open to businesses around Cameron County.
