Beto O’Rourke says he is not planning to run for governor at this time. The former El Paso Congressman and Democratic Senate candidate said Friday he is focused on heading the Powered By People PAC, and his teaching duties at Texas State.

However, O’Rourke added that he could consider entering the race in the future. Republican Governor Greg Abbott says he plans to run for a third term in 2022.
