President Biden says his administration will offer any assistance the state of Alabama needs in recovering from a recent deadly tornado. That tornado destroyed dozens of homes and business in north Jefferson County Monday night.

The pledge came Wednesday after Biden spoke by phone with Governor Kay Ivey following a tour of some of the hardest hit areas. Ivey said officials are still working on a financial estimate of the damage.
