Biden Defends New Russian Sanctions

President Biden is defending new sanctions on Russia for cyber hacks and interfering in U.S. elections. Biden said yesterday the U.S. cannot let a foreign power interfere in America’s democratic process, and called the moves appropriate and proportionate.

The sanctions also cover reports of bounties on the heads of American soldiers in Afghanistan.
