Texas may be the next state to ditch Daylight Saving Time. State Senator Jose Menendez filed a bill that would allow voters to choose whether they want to change their clocks twice a year.
The bill would abolish Daylight Saving Time in Texas, but it doesn’t address time zones, and that has complicated similar bills that have been filed in the past. Menendez thinks this year it will pass. Two states, Arizona and Hawaii, have done away with Daylight Saving Time.
