Small business owners in downtown Tomball are unhappy about a planned power outage scheduled for Wednesday of this week.

CenterPoint Energy says they need to pull the plug for eight hours in order to perform some system upgrades that have to be done before the end of the year. But business owners say it will shut them down for the entire day, right in the middle of the Christmas shopping season.

The outage was postponed from December 8th, but CenterPoint says the work must be completed by December 31st.
