By Investigators in Cameron County are trying to determine the identity of a man found dead near Santa Maria.
The sheriff’s office says the body of a Hispanic male was found early Sunday on the bank of the Rio Grande River. The man is thought to be in his late 20s. The sheriff’s office says the death is being treated as an accidental drowning.
