Border Patrol Agents Rescue Smuggler Struggling To Swim In Rio Grande


A smuggler is okay after getting rescued from the Rio Grande. The Border Patrol issued a statement Monday that says on Friday, agents spotted a group of smugglers loading a truck with bundles at a site south of Falcon Lake. When they saw the agents, they ran off back toward Mexico.

One man was struggling to swim in the Rio Grande and was rescued by Border Patrol agents. It turns out the bundles contained almost 700 pounds of pot.
