Border Patrol Apprehends More Than 300 Illegal Immigrants In South Texas


The Border Patrol says agents apprehended more than 300 illegal immigrants during encounters in South Texas earlier this week. Two groups of border crossers from South and Central America and Cuba were stopped near La Grulla in Starr County on Wednesday and Thursday.

Agents also conducted separate operations that resulted in ten other arrests. Several suspects will face human smuggling charges in connection with those cases.
