Border Patrol Rescues 18 People From Rio Grande


Over a dozen people are safe after being rescued from the Rio Grande by Border Patrol Agents and CBP. Officers in the Rio Grande Valley sector reportedly helped 18 people who had been in the water for several minutes Tuesday.

One person had to be taken to a local hospital for treatment after being susceptible to hypothermia. The group was from Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico, and Guatemala.
