The sheriffs of five West Texas counties have joined together to oppose a proposed border wall through Big Bend National Park.

Sheriff Thad Cleveland says that he supports the president’s immigration plan but, in this case, it’s not needed. He says that part of the state is protected by mountains and deserts that make crossing nearly impossible.
