By Brownsville is looking for a new city manager. Helen Ramirez announced her resignation at a city commission meeting on Tuesday.
Ramirez said she needed to spend more time with her family due to medical reasons. Her last day will be December 19th.
The city plans to name an interim manager to take over her duties while a search is conducted for her replacement.
