By A Brownsville day care worker has been sentenced to five years in prison following the death of a child. Thirty-seven-year-old Karen Silva was sentenced Thursday in a Cameron County courtroom.
Four-year-old Logan Urbina was found inside a daycare center van hours after his group took a field trip in June. He died before he could be taken to the hospital. Silva pleaded guilty to a second-degree felony charge earlier this month.
