Brownsville ISD To Return To In-Person Classes November 30th

The Brownsville Independent School District is returning to in-person classes at the end of this month. In a Facebook post Tuesday, the district said that the Texas Education Agency will not extend a waiver that has allowed students to learn from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The current waiver ends Friday.

The BISD says in-person classes will resume on November 30th, though parents will have the option to continue with remote learning for their children.
