A Brownsville man is facing charges for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the elderly.
Juan Jose Delgado was arrested Thursday on multiple arrest warrants. Investigators say Delgado would approach elderly victims and offer to help them secure federal grants for home repairs and renovations.
He allegedly used the personal information of the victims to obtain loans without their consent, stealing about 300-thousand dollars. He faces multiple counts of fraudulent use of identifying information and exploitation of the elderly.
