Brownsvillians To Vote On Term Limits

Voters in Brownsville will be able to decide whether the mayor and city commissioners should be limited to their time in office.

The Brownsville City Commission has approved putting a term limits measure on the May ballot. The proposal would limit the mayor and city commissioners to 2 terms in office – a total of 8 years. The city’s election is set for May 1st.
