Bushes, Obamas, Clintons Help Afghan Refugees

Former Obama and Bush administration officials are teaming up to welcome Afghan refugees to America.  Welcome-dot-U-S aims to help the roughly 65-thousand refugees with resettlement.  Many of them are Afghan nationals who helped the U.S. military and are applicants of the Special Immigrant Visa Program.  Co-Chairs Cecilia Muñoz and John Bridgeland are both former directors of the White House Domestic Policy Council under the Obama and Bush administrations, respectively.  Meantime, former First Couples the Bushes, Clintons and Obamas are all honorary co-chairs of the effort.  The organization will work with state and local officials to help get the refugees clothes, food and places to live.
