Cameron County Officials Seeing Uptick In COVID-19 Cases

Cameron County health officials are keeping an eye on a recent increase in COVID-19 cases.

The county’s public health administrator tells The Monitor that the increase could be related to recent Fourth of July celebrations in the county. She says the numbers should start to decline in the next few days if that is the case. The county reported 50 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday.
