Cameron County To Continue To Require Masks In County Buildings

Cameron County will continue to require anyone visiting a county building to wear a face mask while inside.  County Judge Eddie Trevino, Junior, has signed an emergency order making face masks mandatory for visitors and employees in those buildings.  The order also requires county employees to wear masks at all times during working hours.  The order took effect at midnight and will last through May 6th unless it is extended.  The cities of McAllen and Mission have also decided to extend mask requirements at some public facilities.
