Camp For Incoming UT Students Canceled Due To COVID-19

Camp Texas, where incoming U-T students get to meet each other and learn about the campus, is being canceled due a COVID outbreak.

The university announced that Camp Buckner, where the event is held, is being shut down for two weeks due to positive cases among the staff. This forced the cancellation of all four Camp Texas sessions, with the first one set to begin yesterday.

The Texas Exes said they will help students already in Austin with issues stemming from the cancellation.
