Canadian Prime Minister Says Border With United States Will Reopen In Weeks

Canada may reopen its border with the United States earlier than expected. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the border will likely reopen in weeks, not months.

Trudeau told reporters yesterday plans are moving forward to allow Americans back into the country for the first time since March 2020, which is when the border closed in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It will remain shut down to non-essential travelers until at least July 21st.
