By The carnival at the Houston Rodeo was shut down early on Saturday night due to a safety issue.
Police say a group of individuals began running in the carnival area, which prompted others to run. There’s no word on why the individuals were running.
Organizers with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo said closing the carnival was done “out of an abundance of caution.”
