US Representative Joaquin Castro says he’s undecided as to whether he’ll run for Texas attorney general.
Castro says he was thinking of running for US Senate, but so were state Representative James Talarico and former US Representatives Colin Allred and Beto O’Rourke. He says he offered to run for Texas attorney general if the others would divide up the races for Senate, governor, and lieutenant governor. But Allred and Talarico are both challenging GOP incumbent John Cornyn for his Senate seat. Castro says he plans to decide what to do before the December 8th candidate filing deadline.
