Castro: Trump Repeatedly Lied About Election Results

House impeachment manager Joaquin Castro accuses former President Trump of repeatedly lying about the results of the presidential election.

The San Antonio Democrat says Trump claimed the election was stolen through widespread election fraud. Castro addressed the Senate during the second day of Trump’s impeachment trial and said Trump refused to accept a peaceful transfer of power.

A single House article of impeachment accuses Trump of inciting the Capitol attack on January 6th.
