CDC Cautiously Optimistic On Pandemic Outlook

This summer could be a turning point in the pandemic for the U.S. The CDC says it’s “quite hopeful” there could be a sharp drop in COVID hospitalizations and deaths by July.

However, they’re still urging Americans not to let our guards down too soon on things like face masks and social distancing. All this comes as the Biden administration is launching an effort to make vaccines widely available at community health centers in low-income and underserved areas. The goal is to get at least one shot in the arms of 70-percent of U.S. adults by the 4th of July.
