CDC: Moderna COVID Vax Most Effective


The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is the most effective against hospitalization out of the three authorized for use in the U.S. That’s according to a new CDC study that looked at vaccination among 36-hundred adults hospitalized with coronavirus between March and August.

It found that Moderna’s vaccine offered 93-percent protection against hospitalization, while Pfizer’s had 88-percent. Johnson and Johnson came in third with 71-percent protection.
