CDC To Vote On Child COVID Boosters Today


The CDC could be just hours from approving COVID booster shots for 12-to-15 year olds.

Advisers are meeting today and the director will likely sign off after. If that happens, millions of children would be allowed to get a third shot by this weekend. It comes as the raging omicron variant sends more schools back to virtual learning.

Chicago teachers just voted last night to keep students home until January 18th and the city reacted by canceling classes today for up to 330-thousand students.
