Revelations that labor leader Cesar Chavez was abusing girls has prompted efforts to wipe his name off streets across the state. In San Antonio, there will community hearings about what to do.

Trish DeBerry with the group Centro San Antonio says it’s likely the street will go back to being called “Durango.” There’s also an effort at the state capitol to rename Cesar Chavez Street and remove a statue of him from the campus of UT Austin.
