Child Hurt In Fireworks Mishap Transferred To Different Hospital


The child seriously injured in a fireworks mishap is taken to a second hospital for treatment.

The eight-year-old girl from Pharr was hit in the head by an airborne projectile firecracker the night of Independence Day. She was first taken to McAllen Medical Center and yesterday was transferred to DHR Health in Edinburg. It is the only new news in the case.

So far, neither the girl’s condition nor prognosis have been released.
