Senator John Cornyn is saying favorable things about a Houston-area facility that temporarily houses migrant children.
On Tuesday, the Texas Republican visited the undisclosed location run by the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
Cornyn says he visited with kids from Honduras and Guatemala who were being tutored. He says the site is better managed than the migrant facility he recently visited in Donna, Texas. At that site, thousands of kids are packed into rooms intended to hold a few hundred.
