Dallas City Councilman Zarin Gracey said some city executives may need to take pay cuts to help balance the city budget.
The City of Dallas is dealing with a 30-million-dollar budget shortfall in the current fiscal year and a projected 51-million-dollar gap in the year ahead. Gracey says he wonders whether some city executives may be overpaid.
He says he plans to ask the CFO to see if it would help to reduce some of the top salaries by three-to-five percent.
