A central Texas county judge wants greater inclusion for smaller counties in the state’s COVID-19 rollout.

KXAN reported yesterday that Caldwell County Judge Hoppy Haden says the state should be delivering vaccine doses based on the number of positive cases and deaths per capita, not only by a region’s population.

Haden is working with other small rural county judges to form a coalition to gain representation on the Department of State Health Services vaccine allocation panel.
