Court To Hear Arguments Over Trump Records Release

A federal appeals is about to hear arguments Tuesday morning on whether former President Trump can keep his White House records secret. He’s been refusing to hand them over to a House committee investigating January’s Capitol attack, citing executive privilege.

The panel wants to see phone records and other documents between his advisers to understand if he played a role in the violence. They’ve issued 45 subpoenas so far.
