Senator Ted Cruz is attending a summit today to discuss the administration’s “Trump Accounts” savings initiative for children. Late last year, President Donald Trump said every American child born during his second term will receive a one-thousand-dollar government deposit to help start their account.
In addition to the Republican senator from Texas, Trump will be joined today by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and rapper Nicki Minaj at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium in downtown Washington, DC.
