Dallas ISD Tries To Round Up 11-Thousand Students Missing From Class

The Dallas ISD is trying to get students back in school after many of them wandered off during the pandemic.

Officials at the largest school district in North Texas say about 11-thousand high school and middle school students haven’t shown up or logged on for classes this school year.

The district is starting an initiative called Operation Comeback to get kids back into class, starting with the high-schoolers, about nine-thousand of whom are no-shows.
