Rio Grande Valley residents have only a few hours left to apply for federal disaster assistance from FEMA. Today is the final day that residents of Willacy, Hidalgo, Cameron and Starr counties can apply for help to repair damage caused by March floods.

Applications can be made by phone, online and in-person at the FEMA recovery centers still open in the Valley. Applications must be completed by midnight.
