Several people arrested after a deadly 2022 shooting in McAllen have had their charges dismissed.
Viviana Gomez, Naila Reyes and Humberto Ojeda, Junior, had murder charges dropped on Friday. Bryan Vasquez also had an attempted murder charge dismissed the same day.
The four defendants were charged after 22-year-old Ryan Serna was shot outside the No Manches Wuey bar in 2022. Prosecutors said they could not establish the necessary links to ensure a successful trial.
