Disneyland and California Adventure will stay locked up until at least January. State rules made reopening earlier unlikely anyway. Large theme parks in California cannot reopen until the county they’re located in advances into the least-restrictive Yellow Tier.
Orange County will stay in the Red Tier for at least another week, and a surge in coronavirus cases has it headed back toward the most-restrictive Purple Tier, possibly by the end of the month. The Disneyland Resort has been closed since March, though the Downtown Disney shopping district is open.
