The Donna school district is celebrating the opening of a new Head Start campus. Officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Guzman Head Start Academy on Friday.

The school has 16 classrooms and can support the enrollment of nearly 300 children. Head start officials say students with babies as young as six-weeks-old can also transfer to the academy so they can stay focused on their studies. Classes at the school begin today.
