A Donna man accused of causing a crash that killed a tow truck driver will not be getting a lower bond. A Cameron County judge denied a request by Cristobal Stephan Garzez during a hearing yesterday.

Garzez was arrested in July after David Zapata was killed on the expressway in Harlingen. Garzez was indicted on charges of manslaughter, collision involving death and possession of a controlled substance. His bond is currently set at 510-thousand dollars.
