Investigators have removed dozens of dogs from a home in Mission. The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office says it began investigating the home in the 73-hundred block of Santa Monica Boulevard after receiving several complaints. Six dead dogs were found during an exterior inspection of the home. That led to the execution of a warrant that removed 42 dogs from the property yesterday. The sheriff’s office says the case is still under investigation.
