By 710 KURV has been told by a family member that one of the founders of DHR Health, Dr Lawrence Gelman, a giant in South Texas philanthropy and political discourse, passed away last night unexpectedly.
According to his family the cause is unclear.
His service will be within the next 40 hours, as per Jewish tradition.
