Driscoll Children’s Hospital To Establish Pediatric Endowment

An Edinburg hospital is establishing an endowment to help pediatric patients and their families.

Driscoll Children’s Hospital Rio Grande Valley announced a 500-thousand-dollar donation from the Knapp Community Care Foundation Tuesday. The hospital’s Development Foundation will match the donation to create the Mid-Valley Pediatric Assistance Endowment.

The fund is designed to help patients and their families with travel, lodging and medicine costs.
